A social music app that brings people closer through shared sound.

Designed for my Business Law Shark Tank project, Luce turns music discovery into a connected experience, letting users share playlists, comment on songs, and even exchange music through proximity. I built a small Figma prototype to make the idea come to life visually.

Designing Connection Through Sound

I created Luce because I wanted to show how music can connect people, not just entertain them. For the Shark Tank presentation, I needed more than words, I needed to show how features like social sharing and proximity music exchange would actually look and work.

Making the Idea Tangible

I jumped straight into Figma, designing the home screen and key interactions inspired by Spotify and Apple Music. Each screen was built one at a time with transitions, variants, and micro-interactions that made it feel like a real app, not just a visual.

Bringing Music to Life Visually

The prototype gave my peers a way to experience Luce firsthand, exploring the homepage, sending songs, and seeing how proximity sharing could work. The visuals made the concept clear and engaging, helping my team communicate the vision effortlessly.

Designed With Intent

Luce taught me how to translate ideas into interactive experiences that feel real. Even as a small prototype, it showed the power of using design to communicate,  turning abstract concepts into something people can see, feel, and understand instantly.
